Import historical Plausible analytics — install / import plausible
- In Plausible, open your website's Site Settings, then Imports & Exports and Export Data. Download the full ZIP from its export email. A chart download is not supported. Official export instructions.
- In AnalyticFast, open the website's Settings, then Import. Select the ZIP and review its preview, timezone, dates and warnings. Confirm that the export belongs to this website.
- Confirm the import. Import history shows completed and interrupted imports. Owners and admins can remove an individual import without deleting live analytics.
Archives are limited to 8 MiB compressed, 12 MiB expanded, 4 MiB per CSV, 16 files and 25,000 rows. Only complete historical days before native tracking starts are published. Duplicate uploads are safe; overlapping imports are rejected.
Imported visitor counts sum daily aggregates, so returning people can count more than once. Conversion rate and revenue per visitor use this estimated denominator. Imported daily data appears on daily, weekly and monthly charts, not invented hourly distributions. Combined filters are supported only when the archive contains the required dimensions. Country exclusions use location aggregates; incompatible reports omit imported data.
No identities, live visitors, revenue, goals or event quota usage are imported. Native tracking takes precedence when older native data arrives. Import removal does not remove live visitors or payments. Source website and timezone identity cannot be reliably read from the ZIP, so the administrator must confirm them.
